1 Go to "My Files", click on the Internal storage, navigate to the settings tap at the top right corner and click settings and ensure that you check the "show recent files" and "show hidden files" so that all the status are visible and accessible for copying or duplicating so to say.

2. Under Internal storage go to the "WhatsApp" tap usually the last folder under internal storage, click media and then all the status of your whatsapp contact will appear and you can copy them to any folder of your desire.

Please not that contacts who checked the read receipts on their whatsapp, you will not be able to see their status and the users of whatsapp GB if they have executed some other settings.
